Inclusive Coding Saturday, March 14, 2026
Session 1, 3:00-4:00pm Block Scratch Coding
Join us at The Coder School in Branford where children will be using MIT’s platform called Scratch, students will use block coding and create fun projects such as a solar system or an apple catching game. Students will learn the basics of loops, variables, and if and then statements. Recommended for students brand new to coding, Recommended age 7-9 years old (older students welcome)
**Session $10.00 Max 10 Students per class**
Session 2, 4:15-5:15 Python Coding
Join us at The Coder School in Branford to learn the most popular language out there, python! Used by Google and Facebook, learn how to create shapes or a calculator. Students will learn the basics of coding. Students must be familiar with the keyboard. Recommended for ages 9.5 and over (advanced students that are younger are welcome) .
**Each Session $10.00 Max 10 Students per class**
Judgement Free Family Ice Skating Sunday March 29, 2026
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming ice skating time created especially for neurodivergent children, teens, and their families. This is a supportive, judgment-free space where everyone can move at their own pace, build confidence, and simply have fun together on the ice.
Important guidelines:
⛸️ All children must be accompanied on the ice by a caregiver
⛸️ Everyone on the ice must wear skates

Helping Children Thrive with ADHD April 23, 2026
Guest Speaker Jeff Baer, LCSW
Jeff Baer, LCSW from Shifting Currents Counseling and Therapy will present on Helping Children Thrive with ADHD. Together, we will discuss the realities of ADHD and explore a framework of applicable strategies to support children with ADHD. Strategies will range from parent management techniques to child led activities. Lastly, we will explore how to navigate dopamine, screen time and video games.
